New York April 2003

I suppose you couldn't call this local, but I thought it proper that I share
this experience.
We went to New York for 4 days. I managed to get the wife out of the shops
to go Bird
watching one day. It was a truly wonderful experience for any one who has
not visited the States.
I had an expert Ornithologist from the American Institute of Natural HIstory
as a guide. Joe has
collated all the birds we saw on that day. Central Park is abound with many
beautiful birds.
Jamaica Bay was full of Marshland Birds, Waders, and woodland birds.
Should anyone wish to contact Joe, please feel free to do so, at Joe

Richard Greenwood.
