Weather:- Dry with sunny intervals.
Four Kingfishers were seen today in Milltown Inlet, two adults were feeding two juveniles. A good number of hirundines were noted with 213 Swallows , 2 Sand Martin , 5 House Martin and 3 Swift . A Common Tern and a Dunlin were also present.

Three Kingfishers were seen today and a Little Owl was noted as well. At least 69 House Martin and 87 Swallow were noted passing through and the highlight of the day was a Goshawk , a Common Buzzard was also seen. A total of 10 Spotted Flycatchers were seen and 5 Snipe were around the scrapes. A juvenile Dunlin was also noted.

This morning in North bay 2 Greenshank and on the West Bank a Common Sandpiper , one Dunlin , and a Ringed Plover . The number of Canada Geese had increased to 389. Two Swifts were noted this evening and at least 25 Swallows were present.

Weather:- Dry but mostly overcast after overnight rain. Some sunny intervals.
A good day for raptors today with 2 Common Buzzards , 5 Sparrowhawks a Kestrel and a Hobby which was seen catching hirundines. Large numbers of House Martin were over the East bank early evening and parties of Swallow were moving through. Small Numbers of Swifts were noted through the day as well. A Kingfisher was seen and a good count of 7 Spotted Flycatchers was had. A Ringed Plover and a Dunlin were present in the evening.

In Woolley Bay two Green Sandpiper, thirteen Ruddy Duck and on the west bank one Little Ringed Plover and two Common Sandpiper. Three juvenile Common Buzzard were showing well near Carr Wood and one Kingfisher was in front of the main hide. Around the reservoir, four Mute Swan and thirty-nine Tufted Duck. In front of the island one Snipe and late evening two redhead Goosander flew in to roost .

On the west bank today, one Little Ringed Plover and one Common Sandpiper. Three Common Buzzard were showing well near Carr Wood and eight Teal were on the west bank. Around the reservoir four Mute Swan and in front of the island one Snipe. In Woolley Bay ten Ruddy Duck and thirty-nine Tufted Duck. Late evening two redhead Goosander flew in and settled in front of the members hide.

Also from the west bank today, two Redshank, one Greenshank, a Green Sandpiper and five Common Sandpiper. Three Common Buzzard were showing well near Carr Wood and two Kingfisher were noted. Around the reservoir four Mute Swan and on the west bank three Little Ringed Plover. In Woolley Bay sixteen Ruddy Duck and forty-three Tufted Duck.

From the west bank today, two Common Sandpiper, eight Teal and seventy-eight Lapwing. One juvenile Common Buzzard was showing well near Carr Wood and three Snipe were also found in front of the island. Around the reservoir four Mute Swan and on the west bank three Little Ringed Plover. In Woolley Bay sixteen Ruddy Duck and forty-three Tufted Duck. One juvenile Blackcap was on the west bank and several Common Tern were in front of the hide as normal. A count of Little Grebe surprisingly made sixteen and Great Crested Grebe reached forty both totals including young.

From the west bank today, one Common Sandpiper, one Pochard and thirty-seven Lapwing. Two Common Buzzard were showing well near Carr Wood and two Snipe was also found in front of the island. Around the reservoir four Mute Swan and near Brackenfield Church one Spotted Flycatcher. In Woolley Bay nine Ruddy Duck and fifty-one Tufted Duck. Two juvenile Blackcap were on the west bank and several Common Tern were in front of the hide as normal. A male Southern Hawker dragonfly was around the hide area and three Water Vole were seen this morning.

Around the reservoir four Mute Swan and on the dam wall one Grey Wagtail. In Woolley Bay thirteen Ruddy Duck and forty-eight Tufted Duck. Three Kingfisher were noted around the scrapes and several Common Tern were about as normal. This afternoon one Yellow Wagtail was noted south.
