Great Crested Grebe – 1 from 18th to 23rd
Cormorant – 2 SE on 13th, 8 over on 17th, 1 over on 19th & 1 on 25th
Grey Heron – Fewer records this month with 2 on 2nd & singles on 4 dates
Mute Swan – 3 on 2nd and 2 on 3rd & 4th
Canada Goose – Only recorded on 3 dates this month with a max of 2 on 1st & 29th
Pink-footed Goose – c70 East on 4th, 40 South on 5th, c120 SE on 13th & c120 East on 17th
Wigeon – 4 on 15th & 1 on 7th
Teal – Recorded on 18 dates with a max of 15 on 3rd
Pochard – Recorded on 9 dates with a max of 14 on 25th
Tufted Duck – Regular with a max of 30 on 21st
Goldeneye – 1 on 12th & 21st
Ruddy Duck – 1 on 2nd & 2 on 21st
Sparrowhawk – Singles on 3 dates
Kestrel – Regular with a max of 3 on 6th
Merlin – 1 on 3rd
Grey Partridge – Recorded on 15 dates with a max of 13 on 18th
Red-Legged Partridge – 7 on 19th
Pheasant – 1 on 4 dates
Coot – Max 24 on 2nd & 3rd reducing to single figures by the months end
Golden Plover – Recorded on 21 dates with a max of c200 on 2nd, c100 on 12th & 94 on 29th
Lapwing – Max c70 on 20th
Dunlin – 3 on 30th and 1 on 10th & 11th
Jack Snipe – 2 on 19th & 1 on 1st, 3rd, 7th, 11th &13th
Snipe – Max 6 on 26th
Redshank – 1 on 30th & 31st
Green Sandpiper – 1 on 30th
BH Gull – Regular with a max of c335 on 2nd and another 14 three-figure counts during the month
Common Gull – Max 4 on 30th, 2 on 14th & 19th and singles on 7 dates
LBB Gull – Still regular but less this month with a max of 90 on 2nd
Herring Gull – Singles on 4 dates
Yellow-Legged Gull – 1 on 6th
GBB Gull – 1 on 20th
Collared Dove – Max 27 on 2nd at the houses on Pit Lane
Short-Eared Owl – 1 on 1st, 2nd & 4th
Green Woodpecker – Singles on 9 dates
Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 on 17th was unusual
Skylark – Max c50 on 19th
Swallow – 16 on 2nd, 2 on 8th, 3 on 13th & 1 on 16th
House Martin – 5 on 6th & 2 on 13th
Meadow Pipit – Max 33 on 3rd
Grey Wagtail – 1 on 1st & 28th
Wheatear – 1 on 4th
Fieldfare – 14 on 6th, 3 on 20th & 30 on 24th
Redwing – 2 on 6th, 11 on 13th, 20 on 24th & c60 on 29th
Reed Warbler – 1 on 1st
Goldcrest – 1 on 20th was unusual
Jay – 1 on 22nd was unusual
Linnet – Max 50+ on 17th & c40 on 19th
Bullfinch – 2 on 29th & 1 on 19th
Yellowhammer – Max c25 on 28th & c20 on 19th
Reed Bunting – 1 on 18th & 19th
